Columbus, OH – Once again the McDonald's All-American Game showcased the talents of 24 of the top girls players in the country and the fan on hand in the Value City Arena on the campus of Ohio State were not disappointed in the effort put forth by these All-Americans.

Coral Gables, FL – 4SHOT Hoops and Naismith's National Player of the Year, 6-9 Derrick Favors (South Atlanta H.S., Atlanta, GA - Georgia Tech) put the topping on an outstanding high school career when he was named the McDonald's All-American Game's "Most Valuable Player" after scoring 19 points and grabbing 8 rebounds to lead the East to a 113-110 victory over the West.

Coral Gables, FL - The 2009 McDonald's All-American festivities got underway Monday evening at the Bank United on the campus of "The U" in Coral Gables, FL with the POWERade Jam Fest, which included the Three-Point Shoot-Out, the Skills Competition and the SLAM Dunk Contest.
