The final rosters for the 2010 McDoanld's All-American Game will be announced on ESPN at 5:30p.m. ET on Thursday, Feburary 11.
Each team will be made up of the top 24 male and female high school players in the country. The game is set for March 31 at the Value City Arena. 4SHOT Hoops started covering the McDonald's All-American Game back in 2004, and every year the state of Georgia has been represented.
In 2004 Dwight Howard (SACA), Josh Smith (Oak Hill) and Randolph Morris (Landmark Christian) kicked it off. Then in 2005 it was Louis Williams (South Gwwinnett H.S.) and Montavious Adams (Manchester H.S.). In 2006 Jarvis Crittenton (SACA) was there and Wheeler Head Coach Doug Lipscomb coached the East Squad.
In 2007 the two best big men in the state, J.J. Hickson (Wheeler H.S.) and Gani Lawal (Norcross H.S.) held it down for Georgia. Another duo, Al-Faroug Aminu (Norcross H.S.) and Chris Singleton (Dunwoody H.S.) represented in 2008 and last year in was the 2009 Gatorade "Player of the Year" Derrick Favors (South Atlanta H.S.) who took home game MVP honors.
