Mustangs wear down Patriots
Durham and Singleton too much inside

Kennesaw Mountain used their decided height advantage inside with 6-6 Darryl Durham, 6-6 Torian Singleton and 6-5 Jordan Jones to wear down a gamed Berkmar team in the second half enroot to a 18 point victory.
 Berkmar's Brandon Thompson is tied up by two Kennesaw Mtn. defenders.
The first quarter was a seesaw affair as the teams raced up and down the floor exchanging baskets. Berkmar sophomores Brandon Thompson and Yonel Brown were most affective when play was wide-open as they easily were able to get any shots they wanted.
Kennesaw Mountain was more deliberate and balanced as Durham, Singleton and Mathew Augustine each scored a couple of baskets to give the Mustangs a 19-16 lead.
The Mustangs height advantage really started taking hold in the second quarter as Durham continued posting up and scoring inside. Eric Edwards started getting into the groove also hitting some big shots from outside. Edwards scored 7 points in the quarter to help Kennesaw Mountain take a 44-26 lead into the half.
Berkmar played better team ball in the second but they just could not match-up inside; 6-3 Ducein Williams put up a valiant effort but at the end of the day it was just too much Durhan and Singleton to deal with.
Darryl Durham was named the games MVP for Kennesaw Mountain and Yonel Brown was named MVP for Berkmar.
The Final Score: Kennesaw Mountain 78 - Berkmar 59

Berkmar: Yonel Brown scored 18 to lead the Patriots; Ducein Williams added 12 and Brandon Thompson 11.
